NSW Enterprise Agreements

Enterprise Agreements (EAs) are legally binding documents negotiated between the union and the university that set out the pay, workload, leave, job security and other rights of staff. Unlike university policies or management guidelines, the conditions in an EA are enforceable at law.

These agreements are central to protecting fair and equitable workplaces. They define the minimum standards management must follow, and they give staff the ability to hold universities accountable if those standards are not met. Strong, enforceable conditions in an EA are essential to ensuring safe, fair and respectful working environments across our campuses.
