We’re nearing the first-year anniversary of the tragic passing of our dearest friend, colleague, comrade and sister Sinéad Francis-Coan.
Sinead worked with and was loved by so many at NTEU and the wider movement and it feels pertinent to come together to mark our loss and to keep alive the memory of Sinéad’s incredible life and work.
Please join us for a memorial gathering on Friday 19 June at the NTEU Office in Surry Hills, Sydney.
There will be a few short speeches, with people invited to share their warm memories of Sinéad and a memorial unveiling in the office. This will be followed by a visit to The Gaelic Club – a place Sinéad enjoyed, danced and sang at – for an evening of Irish trad music amongst friends and comrades.
This is an open event; all friends, family, activists, and community members welcome to attend. No dress code, but we all know Sinéad loved a good bright colour/coordinated outfit.
If you would like to attend, please email: [email protected] (for building access and catering purposes).
