The format of the meeting on Monday has been changed and will now be a one hour members meeting only from 12-1pm.
This is no longer protected industrial action, and is the result of an administrative error in the stop work notification. You should carry out your duties as normal if rostered to work.
The substance of this meeting remains unchanged, as does its importance. For many members, attendance at the meeting will be in their lunch break as per usual.
Members will be asked to consider two motions put forward by the Branch Committee:
- A motion on strike action in week five to push our key claims at the table, and
- A motion directing the Bargaining Team negotiations on matters of academic employment, and management’s “Teaching Associates” / “Industry Education Specialists” proposals.
