Our union is powered by people like you. Every campaign, every win, every act of solidarity begins when members step forward and get involved. It’s that collective spark, of staff standing shoulder to shoulder, that turns frustration into action and ideas into change.

Across our branches, members organise, campaign, support colleagues, and stick together because change doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when we decide to make it happen. From defending secure jobs and fair pay to tackling workloads and building safer, more respectful workplaces, our strength comes from the simple truth that we’re stronger together.

Getting active doesn’t mean you have to do everything. It means doing something.

Join a campaign working group, step up as a delegate, help a colleague with a workplace issue, or take part in union training to grow your skills and confidence. Every contribution big or small helps shape what comes next.

When we show up for each other, we win lasting improvements for staff, students, and the broader community. So if you believe in fairness, respect, and a better future for higher education, don’t sit on the sidelines.

Get active. Get involved. Shape the future.
