Your next Enterprise Agreement has been won by union members!<\/span><\/h2>\n

It's been months of hard and dedicated work by NTEU UTS members. We're proud of the outcome:<\/strong> we believe the new Agreement serves to safeguard and strengthen workplace rights for all staff at UTS.<\/p>\n

Bargaining commenced with a management team whose original proposal would have stripped away existing staff rights.<\/strong> NTEU members have pushed hard to ensure there are no diminutions in our next Union Collective Agreement.<\/p>\n

Our new Staff Agreement has been approved by the Fair Work Commission and will operate from September 25th. You can access the new Staff Agreement here<\/a><\/span>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The improvements to conditions were won by members and we should all be proud!\u00a0<\/p>\n

What we were able to gain for all staff is a direct result of member action...<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

...of workplace conversations, stalls, get-togethers, forums, critical industrial action like stop-works and strikes, and negotiation in the bargaining room.<\/p>\n
