PROPOSALS REFUSED

In February members voted overwhelmingly to take industrial action if management didn’t finalise our outstanding demands in bargaining. Management has not moved on the last claims of superannuation equity, union rights and a fair pay rise. Industrial action was only on pause while we were making acceptable progress in bargaining, and that progress is no longer being made. This means we are moving to a 24 hour strike on Wednesday 18 March.

We need to be loud and visible next week while also preparing to get all staff to vote NO on any attempt by management to go around the bargaining process.

On Wednesday join your colleagues at NuSpace from 8am to hand out flyers before we all come together with students and supporters for a rally at 12.30pm. At 1.30pm everyone’s welcome for lunch and a drink at the Clarendon Hotel on Hunter Street.
