BARGAINING

AT UOW

It’s time to bargain for better workplaces and a better university.

Through Enterprise Bargaining, staff at the University of Wollongong, led by NTEU members get a chance to negotiate for improvements to our workplace and working conditions.

Our union negotiated Enterprise Agreements expired on 30 June. During bargaining we can increase pressure on management and transform our fight against job cuts into demands for an even stronger Enterprise Agreement.

So, what's happening now?

NTEU members at UOW recently voted overwhelmingly to endorse our log of claims.

We now need to show management that a strong majority of staff want to improve our conditions at UOW.

Open to all staff, our recently launched Majority Support Statement calls on management to deliver fair yearly pay rises, fair workload protections, and
secure jobs.

We're asking for the support of all UOW staff in this effort, so read more about the Majority Support Statement and sign today!

Not an NTEU member?

We should feel empowered to raise our voices for basic workplace rights, but it’s going to take all our voices to ensure we get the change we want to see.

It’s more important than ever to join the NTEU! Only NTEU members can vote on the things we claim for and are protected in taking Industrial Action. Your union colleagues are fighting to win a better Enterprise Agreement for for everyone, so make sure you join today!
